I appreciate your views but the link you shared does a very superficial analysis. California has been in decline, its productivity is in decline, it's the state with the highest taxes and despite that, the tax revenue is declining... and also lots of people leaving California to other states.

And I don't think AI will replace humans no. Machines and computers have been changing the way we work for 200 years but that doesn't mean that we have now a higher unemployment rate than we had 200 years ago.
