Sixty-Eight Days
Finding Love In The Age Of Brain Implants And Metaverse
Don’t you wish sometimes to be able to go inside the head of your loved ones to convince them to do what you believe to be the best for them?
Maybe that will be possible in a not-too-far-away future.
“The future is not something we enter. The future is something we create.” — Leonard I. Sweet
A year ago, I wrote a sci-fi love story. This novel took me 2 months to write plus 1 month of editing. Not too bad, considering that my first book (a technical book about blockchain) took me around 6 months. I really believe that the time to write a book will drastically decline once we can have those Neuralink brain implants.
I’m going to be publishing the first few chapters of Sixty-Eight Days here on Medium. Why? Well, this is a self-published book. I don’t have a literary agent or publisher, so I can only rely on Amazon. The thing is…. Amazon does not promote books with adult content. Sixty-Eight Days has a very spicy scene 🙊 that is kinda crucial for the story, and I’m not going to change the story just to be able to promote the book on Amazon!
The solution? Can I publish it on Medium? Yes.
