Thanks for sharing Jack Williamson book. I've added it to my reading list. ๐Ÿ˜Š

It super impressive to read sci-fi novels that are 70 or 80 years old covering AI ethics in such way.

To your point, in some of the Isaac Asimov "I, Robot" stories, the robots are overprotective of humans because of the the robotics law "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."

One of the biggest issues with AI alignment is that AIs might try to make everything so efficient that end up killings us in the process.
