This is a great question and I've also faced this problem.

I don't think there's a solution to have the same character/object across different images but maybe try to use seeds. More info here: https://docs.midjourney.com/docs/seeds#:~:text=The%20Midjourney%20bot%20uses%20a,seed%20or%20%2D%2Dsameseed%20parameter.
