17 years ago I created an EA on Metatrader.

Backtested fine tune it hundreds of times. Then used a paper account to test it live for months. Then finally move to real money.

It worked for a few months and then it suddenly stop being profitable.

I think even a trading strategy that once worked might stop working because of market conditions, other people using the same strategy, etc.
